*The following Scriptures are helpful to pray when dealing with specific issues. Memorize them. Chew on them. Let them transform you!
Pray for PEACE when stressed:
“You will keep me in perfect peace, because my mind is stayed on You and I trust in You.”
Isaiah 26:3

Pray for PROVISION when faced with lack:
“God is able to make all grace abound toward us; that we, always having all sufficiency in
all things, may abound to every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8

Pray for PROTECTION when feeling threatened:
“No weapon formed against me shall prosper…”
Isaiah 54:17

“The Lord shall preserve me from all evil;
He shall preserve my soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in

LONELINESS:
“I am with you always.”

TEMPTATION:
“The bolts of our gates will be iron and bronze, and our strength will equal our days.

the clouds in His majesty. The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are everlasting
arms. He will drive out our enemy before us, saying, ‘Destroy him!’”

ANXIETY:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

DEPRESSION:
“For I know the plans I have for you. Plans of peace and not of evil, Plans of prosperity
and not of calamity, to give you hope and a future.”

PHYSICAL ILLNESS:
“Jesus Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins,

Finally, remind yourself often of your identity in Christ:
* I am a child of God. (John 1:12)
* I am completely forgiven. (Colossians 1:14)
* I am tenderly loved by God. (Jeremiah 31:3)
* I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me. (1 John 5:18)
* I have been given a spirit of power, love and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)
