Screenwriting 203 is the third segment of a three-part writing sequence. Please bring your approved treatment or beat sheet as well as your screenplay draft of Act I and II to the first class and be prepared to share it. CEG Screenwriting 203 includes refining your story beat sheet, and continuing to develop your characters and their unique voices, plot twists, subtext, and creating great story endings. The goal of this segment is to complete your draft of Act III. Course includes both lecture and personalized feedback. Homework and reading assignments are necessary for your success.
This course may be repeated and is a pre-requisite for Screenwriting 204. Course book requirements: Final Draft and Save The Cat. Please be prepared to write within the class time.
Registration is currently open. Weeknight or Saturday class options available for this 10 week session. Step #3 includes opportunity to apply for financial aid or to sponsor someone.
HOW TO REGISTER:
1. Submit a writing sample and pay $25 evaluation fee. This is not the cost of the class, but a fee to review your writing for placement within the CEG writing program. *Screenwriting 101 is the only class that does not require a writing sample. 4. Hold your spot by paying the course fee. $400 for 10 week session. Payment plans are available.
