Step#3 to Cultivating A Servant Heart: Be Led By The Holy Spirit. Are we allowing the Holy Spirit to lead our lives? · The Spirit is a Counselor who will guide us in our everyday lives, including by convicting us of sin John 16:8. · He will help us to stop sinning and to do the things that please God. Romans 8 · He will guide us into all truth. John 16: 13 · He will teach us everything, and help us to remember what Christ has said. John 14:26 · He helps us pray. Roman 8:26 · He will comfort us when we’re hurting. “I will not leave you as orphans,” Jesus says (John14:18), promising that the Spirit will bring us peace (John 14:27). · He gives us power, Acts 1:8, and empowers us serve in those works that God intended for us. Hebrews 9:14; Hebrews 10:20 · He transforms us into the image of Christ. Romans 8:29 · The Holy Spirit will lead and empower us to learn obedience to the Word of God in our sufferings, and be led to perfection, just as Jesus was. Hebrews 5:7-9 · The Holy Spirit will give you the words to say at the moment when you need them. Luke 12:12 God can do more than we could ever do on our own. I encourage you to dive into His word, sing spiritual songs, be in community groups, pray, seek God’s will for your life every day, keep your eyes on God and choose to let the Holy Spirit lead.
