Sunday, Nov. 17th Pastor Joel Osteen asked Kanye West. “How do you, Kanye West end up at Lakewood Church?” His response was, “I know God’s been calling me for a long time… and the devil’s been distracting me for a long time.” “The same thing that people are using to say well we don’t know if he’s sincere is what God is using to be able to say more. You can see how low I had sunk, and how in service to the devil my talents had become.” ““Now that I am in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me…and in that I am no longer a slave. I am a son now, a son of God. I am free.” “When I was in my lowest points God was with me, inspiring me, giving me visions and dreams. I remember being in the hospital drawing a church in Calabasas. Even with a gospel song the devil is going to try to distract. I’ve told you about my arrogance and confidence and cockiness, God is now using the great artist for him.
