Step #5 To A Servant Heart: Create A Bond Of Peace. The world might attack others who don’t think the same as they do. The world might hate those with different beliefs than theirs. As a Christian in entertainment it can sometimes even feel like we are the minority, that there is tolerance and a loud voice for acceptance of all other beliefs except Christianity. We have different ideas on love, forgiveness, politics, abortion, and more. In John, Jesus had just washed the feet of his disciples. He told the apostles they (we) are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be His witness and testify as to who He is. Jesus says, 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” The quote “one another” is noted some fifty eight times in the bible. “Bear with one another,” “be devoted to one another,” “encourage one another,” and “love one another.” Romans 12:10 encourages us to “be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.” As Christians in entertainment, we represent who Jesus is to the world. How are we creating a bond of peace?
